MCHCF Pediatric Health Fair, Sponsored by AmeriChoice
2010 marked our 1st Annual Pediatric Health Fair. It was also a huge success. We had over 150 children and parents in attendance. This year’s event focused on “Activity”. Prizes where give to the winners of the jump rope, cone run, hula hoop, and free throw contest. We are dedicated and determined to become the driving force in Middle Tennessee to address CHILDHOOD OBESITY and actively DO SOMETHING about it. Our initiative includes workshops and several events designed to increase health awareness through education and prevention.

MCHCF "Community Baby Shower", Sponsored by AmeriGroup Community Care
This event was sponsored by our community partners @ AmeriGroup. It highlighted workshops on prenatal care and educational information from several vendors in attendance. Our very own Pediatricians, Linda Beecher, M.D. and Theodora Pinnock, M.D. conducted seminars with expecting mothers in attendance on “Healthy First Steps” including Behavioral and Developmental issues. Gifts and door prizes where also donated by our community partners.
